MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AS A LOCAL HIRE.

RATE: $236/day

SHOOT DATES: Mid-February (Talent must be available for date range to apply. Will likely be a 2 day shoot. Not all roles will be working every day.)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Union and non-union welcome to apply.

Looking to fill the following roles:

DETECTIVE JOHN SHAW (30-40 y/o) [male, any race/ethnicity, (P.O.C. preferred)] A rising force in the LAPD Detective Bureau, Shaw spent his formative years training under the shadow of the eccentric and mercurial genius, former Detective Abraham "Abe" Elias. Studious, cultured and personable, Shaw lacks the investigative "second sight" of his mentor but makes up for it in pure willpower and energy. Despite all the good he has done, Shaw still feels eclipsed by Abe, and desires a case that will not only put his own name in the history books, but make his mentor proud.

ABRAHAM “ABE” ELIAS (40-50 y/o) [male, any race/ethnicity, (white/hispanic preferred)] A decorated former LAPD Detective, now living in near poverty after a horrific tragedy that claimed the life of his child. Hailed by the press and his colleagues as the "Sherlock Holmes of Los Angeles" during his heyday, Abe suddenly and mysteriously left the force years ago, and his distrust of his fellow man has festered into simmering misanthropy and self-loathing.
